Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Review

High kicks, fanservice, and the fight between good and evil are the results of the review for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon in the Anime Reviews section.

Though there was no goth girl with a planet destroying pole arm, rejoice! For her sacrifice was not in vain! Greeting us is a fantastic story, somewhat similar, but at the same time, very different than what it was based on.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (TV, 2003)

Do I have to? I mean, honestly, for Sailor Moon?! Very well, if I must. From the Depths of a Hell Dimension come the long exiled forces of the Dark Kindom led by Queen Beryl and her four generals to subjugate and consume the planet of Earth. The only thing standing between us and total annhilation are the powers of five...okay, five and a half untested girls: Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Luna, and Sailor Moon. And who knows, they might be able to do it too, if they can get their act together, work as a team, balance relationships with the opposite sex, and get all their school work done. Sorry, no goth girl with a planet destroying polearm this time unfortunately.

Onegai Teacher (TV, 2002)

Kei Kusanagi, who at first glance looks to be your typical anime spineless wuse, dreams the dreams of a teenage boy one night looking at the stars...only to see what appears to be a gorgeous woman in light later descend from what may have been a starship. Turns out said woman is in fact an alien by the name of Mizuho Kazami and has secured for herself a job as a his homeroom teacher in order to observe and study the goings on of Earth. Problem is, Kei knows what she is, and she cannot let that go without securing his silence...which sparks off a unique chain of events where Kei actually winds up married to the pretty alien, but what happens after is even more intriguing.

Tsukuyomi (TV, 2004)

Morioka Kohei is a freelance photo journalist who seems to have a problem, in that he can't help but photograph spirits, though generally spiritual energy seems to have very little affect upon him. This leadsto him being contracted quite often by a certain magazine that studies the supernatural, and him flying out to Germany to take photographs of one majorly gothic type castle. Quite quickly he encounters one of its denizens, a young and beautiful girl by the name of Hazuki, who is dressed quite appropriately in EGL. Eventually he convinces her to model a bit for him, though there will be a price involved... which leads to all sorts of extremely surreal happenings, not the least of which he winds up living with, taking care of, and feeding this young girl...the feeding of which is important, as she's actually a vampire.
