ACEN 2010 was fun, fun fun...aside from the cold I was dealing with that is. Also there was the entire Yoshiki from X Japan punk'ing the Masquerade...which was humorous too. He was basically promoing X Japan appearing at Lolapalooza in Chicago in August and the Nissan stadium in Japan a few days later, so tell your friends!

Went to Anime Conji this past weekend. First anime convention here in sunny San Diego, and the first year for it. As I always do, I went to take pics and record video.

Someone should shoot me for taking so long at this. In any event, in the November timeframe I went to a small convention for about a day called Pacific Media Expo to meet up with an old friend who, while being an old friend, I'd never seen in real life. While there, I did what I typically do at a convention, and that's to take a few pictures.

And finally, I get the last of Mayhem's pics up for Anime Expo 2009. I figure I made the point to myself, and demonstrated to everyone else what could be done with the pics to make them look real good for the first 100. There's no need to do 300 more pics like that unless someone specially requests theirs...and I do take requests.

Well, it's that time again! I finally got the first 100 or so of Mayhem's pics from Anime Expo 2009 up. In this, I used Topaz Labs to do some serious post processing, which has nearly demonic levels of noise reduction, smart saturations, and edge sharpening. I hope you enjoy them.

Got the pics I took from Anime Expo 2009 up. As with the others, I've not yet had time to go through and cull the ones that were a little off, or annotate the ones that I recall having a story behind. I should have Doug's pics up from Fanime and Anime Expo in a few days.

Well, finally got the pics up. These are all the pics I took, no cuts and no comments. I’ll be removing some as I go through them and cull the ones that I don’t think I took very well, blurry ones, etc, and comments will come as I go. I figured it’d be best if I just put them up there for those that were looking forward to them now.

Recently went to Anime Central 2009 over at Chicago...in fact, I just got back last night, heh. I took more pics there than I have at any of the previous conventions I went to due in no small part to the shear amount of photoshoot gatherings I took part in. It'll take me a few days to get these pics processed and up on the site, so if you received my card, I do appologize for the delay, but they will be up just as soon as I can get them color corrected, red eye removed, etc.
