Anime Conji 2014 Maridah Panel Now Up

The only video I managed to record this year at Anime Conji was the panel by well known cosplayer, Maridah. In this video you will find helpful advice for all stages of cosplay and cosplay enthusiasts as well as some humorous anecdotes in the world an extremely nice and down to Earth (such as can be said of any of us, heh) cosplayer. It is unfortunate that I was only able to start the camera at the second question due to not being able to be let in early.

So, without further ado, here's the panel on both Youtube and a torrent you can download either below or on Nyaa Torrents.

In my quest to become a little more reliable with these uploads, I have for your viewing pleasure the pics for Anime Conji 2014.

While a much smaller convention than say Wondercon, there was enough talent here that what you see may surprise you. As always, if you see a pic that is yours, drop me a line. I'll make it available.

So after a few centuries of procrastination, I've finally wrangled out of Doug the Con Survival Guide he's been promising me. As an extra added bonus he included within its pages the Con on a Budget article he'd been thinking of writing as well.

Experience pro or newly thinking about hitting a convention, there's a lot of good advice in this article based on several years of experience going to these things. Give it a go; it may just save your life...or at the very least your convention experience.

For everyone who has been waiting so patiently, we have a spectacular announcement. Despite being deeply buried in his work on Peter Jackson's ever-expanding Hobbit movies, famed artist-designer John Howe is nearly finished with his special pencil illustrations for our fancy Two Hearts hardcover. If he continues to turn them in at the current pace, then this long-awaited project and The Last Unicorn audiobook will be ready before the end of the summer, and released as soon as they come in from their respective manufacturing sources.

"The Bridge Partner" is a uniquely different Peter S. Beagle story — a psychological suspense thriller created when Neil Gaiman invited Peter to step outside the fantasy arena and write something "really special" for an anthology Neil was editing. Peter took up the challenge but missed the deadline, so "The Bridge Partner" wound up seeing first publication in Peter's 2011 collection Sleight of Hand.

Ixion Saga DT Review Up

Looking for anime that doesn't feed the disease is becoming akin to finding a politician that is not corrupt. To satisfy this desire, I find myself looking at anime I didn't get to the first time around, and here we wind up with Ixion Saga DT; one that will go down in infamy as setting a new bar for the wrongest of the wrong parodies out there which is what this review will be about.
