Demented Little Man's Zero no Tsukaima Review

Let it never be said, dear readers, we don't go all out! I am sicker than a terrier dog after sucking down a ton of chocolate, and yet...here is a review for Zero no Tsukaima. It's a horribly compressed anime, that couldn't quite make itself bad regardless of what was done...and what wasn't done to it, heh.

If someone could make the comments thread for me, I'll give you...well, you probably don't want what I'd have to give you at this point, but I'd be really appreciative, heh. CLOSED

Zero no Tsukaima (TV, Season One, 2006, Nolen)

Overview

Zero no Tsukaima, or Zero's Familiar, is all about an inept magician in training and the familiar she summoned. Turns out the familiar she wound up summoned was actually a human being from 'our world.' Too bad on this world, Saito is just a commoner, which earns Zero a great deal of ridicule, and himself a lot of Zero's ire for being a human, and worse, a normal human at that...or is he?

Platinum Dragon's Zero no Tsukaima Review

I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, folks, just been very, very busy.  Almost as busy as Saito from Zero no Tsukaima has been trying to avoid Louise's whip.  I've added a preview for this fantasy series this week, and it's a series worth taking a look at, folks.  I'll hopefully be adding a new chapter for Anime for Newbs soon too, and I know that David has been working on a report on AnimeExpo 2006.  The site isn't dead, just us, heh.  Enjoy!

Zero no Tsukaima (TV, 2006, DuBois)

Overview

Here's a premise that's probably been done before, and will probably be done again. Take your standard second-year apprentice mage, and give her a nickname - Zero. A number to reflect how many successful spells she's cast in her life. A student who's mistakes are so explosively spectacular that her entire class panics when the new teacher asks her to demonstrate a spell. Congratulations, you now know the first of two main characters in Zero no Tsukaima. Now picture a young man from our modern day world; average height, average build, and an uncanny knack for figuring out ways to twist situations around into his favor.
