"The Bridge Partner" is a uniquely different Peter S. Beagle story — a psychological suspense thriller created when Neil Gaiman invited Peter to step outside the fantasy arena and write something "really special" for an anthology Neil was editing. Peter took up the challenge but missed the deadline, so "The Bridge Partner" wound up seeing first publication in Peter's 2011 collection Sleight of Hand.

This was one weird year for Fanime. Not so much the convention itself, but everything that wound up going on around it. Just…weird.
A lot of this has to do with the logistics of just getting to and staying at Fanime this year, which had to do with the fact that Mayhem just could not hang for more than a couple of days. This required that I head up and board with Gensao for the night before since we did not hit up day zero. It's probably for the best we didn't hit up day zero, but I'm getting ahead of myself a bit.
And for my next trick, I have convinced Youtube to give us the ability to stream greater than 10 hours of video, so what we now have on our Youtube page are movies for entire events including in this case the Fanime 2012 Masquerade (and hopefully this will keep the Platinum Dragon from screaming about file size overhead for awhile, heheheh).
Don't think I've forgotten you guys who like higher quality in your movies. Click on the attachment below this news item, and you'll get the torrent link for that higher quality; if we're still seeding that is.
The Masquerade was one of the better ones I've seen in recent years. A full on class act all around, and I have to admit, I was quite entertained, and I hope you will be too if you weren't fortunate enough to be there in person. For those of us who were, enjoy the memories and I hope you enjoy sharing it with your family and friends.
Continuing on the coat tails of the recent upload of Anime Expo's 2011 Masquerade, I now present to you a streaming version of the Anime Expo 2011 Idol competition. This year wasn't quite as energetic as last year, but quality has maintained itself as excellent, as you'll see shortly.
For those of you that demand high quality audio and video, however, I present to you the torrent as hosted by Nyaa Torrents. All video this year was recorded with my new camera, and the increased quality difference is most discernible. But again, don't take my word for it, download it and check it out!
