In what I can only commit seppuku for, since these pics are in that risque category I was talking about, and we now have an adult check...of sorts...I have now uploaded the pics from last year's Myth: Legends of Burlesque and Magic taken by Mayhem.
It was a fantastic show; truly there is no doubt about that. It was one of the best events that I'd ever been at during any convention, and I look forward to this year's. If any of the performers want larger and/or raw copies of these pics, let me know and I'll make them available. For everyone else...enjoy responsibly, heh.
And now for the second set of pics, this time brought to you by Mayhem. In this set we have his normal Fanime 2014 cosplay pics, his pics taken at the Cosplay Bikini Contest, and his Masquerade backstage pics.
As is usual, you can message me or Mayhem to get a larger and or raw version of your cosplay if you see it up there. Enjoy!
This was specifically supposed to be just an article on how to attend a convention on a budget. However, there is other advice and tips that go beyond budget and touch on the realm of survival. By survival I'm not necessarily talking about saving your life...I’m talking about saving your experience. It does not take much to make a potentially good con experience go south and turn it into a nightmare due to an illness, injury, or other mishap.
I appear to have hit a bug in gallery 3. Until it can be figured out, I'll have to live with the current state of affairs. This means that the current Anime Expo 2013 sub gallery has been moved to another Anime Expo gallery, and this is where I shall place the pics for Anime Expo for the foreseeable future, or until the problem is corrected. With that in mind, head on over to the new Anime Expo 2013-20xx gallery where you'll find the pics for 2013. Among them you'll see pics from our newest member, KamuiX707, our old friend, Mayhem, and several new events added.
I have added the pics for the Burlesque show, but until I can figure out some sort of age verification system on that gallery, I'll keep them unavailable for the present time.
As is usual, if you're one of the cosplayers and want a larger/unedited JPG and/or RAW version of your cosplay, let me know, and I'll make the available. Have fun!
And hot on the heels of my massive amounts of movie and data processing, we have Mayhem's Fanime 2012 Pics now up. Though he was only there for a couple of days, he managed to snag some great pics pics including both backstage Masquerade and pics of the Black and White Ball at its brand new location! Some good stuff this time around, so check it out.
As always, if you're one of the cosplayers, and you want a larger and/or raw version of the pic, send either me or Mayhem a message and we'll make them available to you.
After some months of procrastination, I have managed to process the pics from AM^2 2011 and Anime Expo 2011 from the slightly insane Mayhem whose help is often invaluable when attending conventions. Also, his pics remind me I should eventually upgrade my camera. To get to his pics on TFA Cosplay, just click the links in the first part.
Remember, if you're one of the cosplayers and want an unedited and/or raw version of the pic, send me a message and I'll make it available. Enjoy!
As always, if you're a cosplayer and want a bigger and/or unedited JPG and RAW of your pic, just send me a message and I'll make it available. Have fun, one and all!
I swear, I'm going to murder this guy. Do you realize what I had to do to some of these pics? No wonder you pawned them off on me!
Seriously though, Mayhem's Animation on Display 2011 pics are now available on TFA Cosplay.
As always, if you're one of the cosplayers that want a larger and unedited and/or RAW version of the pic, just send me a message and I'll make it available. Stand by, as more is coming soon.
Well my fine feathered friends, we have for you today, a romp around the Fanime convention of 2011 in the form of a news report by yours truly.
Great and terrible deeds were performed this time around, as we watch Fanime break the 20k attendee mark, while having to deal with Industry and Venue meddling at the same time they're trying to remain a convention by the fans for the fans. Fun was still had, but much was done that makes one question how long they can pull it off at their current venue and them becoming quite noticeable by pretty much everyone now. But you don't need me talking your ear off here. Click the link above and check it out for yourself.
